Joe Sifrer: Midwest, United States; Welcome to my painting blog. I have been interested in painting and drawing since I was very young and have been in the process of learning about it in some form or other ever since. Whether it was thru the actual making of marks and smears on various surfaces, studying everything I could find on a particular artist or style or observing my surroundings, I've found my interests have remained in some form of realism. Thru this blog, I hope to get a little closer to communicating what my idea of a good painting is...
